Pastor Report:
● Explained Regenisis program – put a small team together of seven (7) people – staff and three
(3) church members. The team will meet for eight (8) months with other small churches. The main idea is discipleship. The team will bring back information to the church to tell what was learned and what we can do to grow our church. First meeting is in September.
Children’s Ministry – Jeanette Rodgers:
- ● Last three (3) months we had VBS and choir finished up for the summer.
- ● Pray for five (5) adult leaders and 12 children going to children’s camp this week. Thanked
everyone for participating in fundraisers and praying.
- ● Look forward to Awana and choir starting up again.
Budget/Finance/Treasurer – Dewayne Stewart, Cheryl Lyman
● Dewayne Stewart reviewed the budget so far for this year.
● Dottie Morris recommended to the church to enforce charges to members for using the church fornon-church events (funerals excluded): $100/hr – two (2) hour minimum; $400 for weddings – four (4) hour minimum. Approved.
Deacon Report – Robert Boyer
● Looking for four (4) more deacons. He read the duties of the deacons. ● Jason explained further about recruiting deacons
