1st Quarter Business Meeting

Prayer by Pastor Jason Rodgers Minutes from 4th Quarter: stand as read Pastor Report:
- ● 4-5 people saved in last quarter
- ● Starting up of gospel.net again – will set goal of 364 church invites, 145 gospel conversations,
and 10 salvations
- ● Would like to see an increase in Sunday School attendance; add 20-40 young adult SS class
and increase church attendance to 90 each week.
- ● We will celebrate the church’s 70 anniversary on May 19th.
Children’s Ministry – Jeanette Rodgers:
- ● Children’s program growing and doing well
- ● Choir started – thanked leaders
- ● VBS potluck lunch planning meeting January 28th – VBS first week of June
- ● Reminder of Children’s camp, 7/15-19 at Camp Copas
- ● Awana: Dottie Morris – continuing to grow; 95% are not church kids; always need helpers.
Budget/Finance/Treasurer – Dewayne Stewart, Cheryl Lyman
- ● Ups and downs in 2023, but we ended up okay. Read Year-end 2023 statement
- ● Finance Committee made motion to take mission trip money to put towards principal on loan Approved/passed
New Business – Elect Student Pastor Search Committee
- ● Jason read definition from bylaws. Dottie Morris made a motion to form a committee, Jill Turner seconded.
